JOSH COHEN

producer

With nearly fifteen years at Tim and Eric’s Abso Lutely Productions, Josh has helped bring some of TV’s most ambitious and unconventional comedy to life. He was a key creative and production force behind several comedy series, including shaping The Eric Andre Show during its first four seasons, where he led physical production and helped steer the show’s controlled mayhem, culminating in an Emmy win in 2024.

Josh got his early start as a line producer and production manager for Comedy Central's "Jon Benjamin Has a Van" and "Review" Season 1, as well as the "Dinner with Brett Gelman" series for Adult Swim. Josh also served as a co-showrunner on the Adult Swim unscripted comedy specials "Soft Focus with Jena Friedman" and "Kraft Punk's Political Party." Most recently, Josh produced "The Magic Prank Show with Justin Willman" for Netflix, which cracked the top 5 most viewed shows on the streamer in April 2024.

A four time Sundance Film Festival Producing alum, Josh recently produced the short film "Deep Tish" that went on to win Best Comedy at the Oscar qualifying 2024 Hollyshorts film festival. In 2014 Josh also co-wrote, produced and starred alongside Ben Schwartz in the Sundance winning short film "I'm a Mitzvah."
